    Position Overview

    The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery in a manufacturing or production environment. This role ensures machines run smoothly, efficiently, and safely to meet production goals while maintaining product quality standards.

     

     

    1st Shift Schedule: 6am-2:30pm (8 hours Monday-Friday)

    2nd Shift Schedule: 2pm-12:30am (10 hours Monday-Thursday)

    Pay: $19-20 (depending on shift and experience)

     

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Set up and operate various types of machines (e.g., CNC, lathe, press, injection molding, packaging equipment).

    • Perform routine maintenance checks and report any issues to maintenance staff.

    • Load raw materials and monitor the production process to ensure quality standards.

    • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.

    • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain proper output.

    • Keep accurate records of production output and machine performance.

    • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

    • Clean and maintain machinery and work area.

     

     

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

    • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, or schematics.

    • Basic math, measurement, and mechanical skills.

    • Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

    • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
