Financial Analyst

Looking to hire a self-directed, high energy individual for our Accounting & Finance team for the position of Financial Analyst. This position reports to the Controller.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all reporting databases with their origin from the ERP (MACOLA) system are accurate; assist in the preparation of the annual operating plan; perform business and account analysis as necessary.

Technical Skills:

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others toward mutual objectives

• Knowledge in Microsoft Office with proficiency with Excel

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounting Manager in the monthly closings, financial reporting, annual audits, and tax return preparation and filings as requested

• Ensure that all GPS cubes reconcile to the general ledger when appropriate

• Assist the Controller in the preparation and issuance of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting and consolidation

• Identify, develop and implement new and more efficient administrative processes

• Assist the manufacturing and service departments in the accurate and efficient use of the company’s ERP system

• Perform regular analysis of the required reserve for warranties

• Participates in complex or non-routine account problems and provide data for periodic financial statements.

• Assists management in the formulation of accounting policies.

Education/Experience:

• BA/BS in Business with a preferred emphasis in Accounting or Finance required

• Five years experience in general ledger analysis and financial reporting

• Five years experience with ERP systems required

Shift/Hours: 8am-5pm, M-F; Flexible for Overtime
