Job Description Responsibilities:
·Pack, label and prepare for shipment all products/units in a manner that minimizes shipping damage and insures correct delivery.
·Reads shipping instructions, property interpreting them, to determine method of packing materials needed and manner shipment.
·Manually assembles and constructs wooden shipping containers as necessary
·Correctly and safely operates and maintains machines to properly pack and minimize damage to units/products in shipment
·Retrieves products/units from Finished Goods according to the pack slip
·Utilize the UPS and FedEx Computers to properly ship outbound shipments
Qualifications/Requirements:
·Must be able to complete heavy work assignments while remaining detailed oriented.
·Must be a team player with strong work ethic.
·Must have a flexible schedule to be able to work overtime as required.
·Must have good basic math skills.
·Must be able to communicate in English, effectively both in written and verbal form.
·Must have basic computer skills (Windows applications)
