Lime/ Cement Slurry Mixer

MEMCO SER is looking for an EXPERIENCED Cement Slurry Mixer to start in Cypress TX ASAP!

Responsibilities for Cement Slurry Mixer Operator 

• Operating and maintaining mixing equipment: Safely operate and maintain lime/cement mixing equipment, ensuring it functions correctly and adheres to safety standards.
• Material handling: Measure, load, and unload raw materials (lime, cement, water, additives) into the mixer according to specifications.
• Mixing and quality control: Monitor the mixing process, adjust settings to ensure the correct consistency and quality of the slurry.
• Equipment checks and maintenance: Regularly inspect the mixer before and after use, perform routine cleaning and maintenance, and report any issues or malfunctions for repair.
• Safety adherence: Strictly follow safety procedures and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. 

Required skills

• Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of mixing and blending machines, including operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in measuring ingredients and monitoring the mixing process to ensure quality.
• Safety Consciousness: Strong commitment to safety protocols and the ability to identify and address potential hazards.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to handle heavy equipment and materials, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors regarding instructions, potential problems, and safety concerns.
• Basic Math Skills: Essential for accurately measuring and calculating mixing ratios.
