MEMCO SER is looking for a EXPERIENCED asphalt roller operator to start ASAP in Kountze TX!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate asphalt rollers (steel drum and pneumatic) to compact freshly laid asphalt on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance (e.g., checking fluids, cleaning).
• Communicate effectively with the paving crew and foreman to ensure proper compaction and smooth surfaces.
• Monitor rolling patterns and asphalt temperatures for quality control.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations on job sites.
• Assist with other tasks on the paving crew as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating asphalt rollers in a paving environment.
• Knowledge of compaction techniques and paving procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment and adapt to changing conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Experience with other heavy equipment (e.g., skid steer, paver, loader).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
