Job Title: Traveling Commercial Roof Foreman

Location: Various Nationwide Job Sites (Travel Required)

Reports To: Project Manager / Superintendent


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Traveling Commercial Roof Foreman to

lead and manage roofing crews on commercial job sites across the country. The Foreman

will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on site, ensuring quality

workmanship, enforcing safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules. This is a

travel-based position requiring extended stays at project locations.


Key Responsibilities:

·        Supervise and coordinate activities of roofing crew members on commercial job sites.

·        Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.

·        Interpret and implement project plans, specifications, and details.

·        Oversee daily work schedules, material deliveries, and jobsite logistics.

·        Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients.

·        Conduct jobsite inspections to ensure quality control and timely progress.

·        Train and mentor crew members, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

·        Complete daily reports, timecards, and safety checklists.

·        Travel to various job sites as assigned, often for extended periods.

·        Qualifications:

·        Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience, with at least 2 years in a foreman

·        or leadership role.

·        Proficient in TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, and/or metal roofing systems.

·        Strong leadership and crew management skills.

·        Ability to read detail drawings, specifications, and use digital tools for reporting.

·        Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

·        Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug test.

·        Willingness and ability to travel regularly, including overnight stays.


Preferred Qualifications:

·        OSHA 30 certification.

·        Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

·        Crane, forklift, or equipment operation certifications.

Working Conditions:

·        Exposure to varying weather conditions.

·        Frequent lifting of heavy materials and climbing ladders.

·        Extended travel required (company-paid lodging, per diem provided).
