Heavy Equipment Mechanic

MEMCO SER is looking for a EXPERIENCED heavy equipment mechanic to start in Houston ASAP!

Job Summary:

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of heavy machinery and equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, and more. Your expertise will ensure equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled services.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Work with service managers to prioritize and complete tasks.
• Operate tools, hoists, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic (or related field).
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of conditions.
