MEMCO SER is looking for an EXPERIENCED administrative invoice clerk in Houston to start ASAP!


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter and process incoming invoices into the company’s accounting system.
  • Verify the accuracy of invoice details, ensuring proper coding and matching to purchase orders.
  • Assist with resolving discrepancies and contacting vendors or suppliers as necessary.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical records of invoices and related documents.
  • Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and office organization.
  • Assist with maintaining an efficient filing system for invoices and financial records.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes as needed.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to invoice statuses.
  • Collaborate with accounting and other departments to ensure timely processing of payments and other administrative tasks.
  • Perform additional clerical duties and ad-hoc tasks as requested by the management team.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred).
  • Previous experience in administrative or accounting support roles preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
