Plumbing Technician

Location: Los Fresnos, TX

Reports To: Program Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Plumbing Technician is responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining plumbing systems in modular housing units. This role includes rough-in plumbing during construction, finish-out plumbing for fully operational fixtures, and site connections once modules are placed. Experience with PEX piping systems is highly preferred.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Install PEX piping systems for water supply and distribution in modular homes.
• Perform rough-in plumbing, securing pipes before wall installation and fixture placement.
• Complete finish-out plumbing, installing sinks, toilets, water heaters, and other fixtures.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks, water pressure, and proper drainage.
• Assist in site connections, tying modular units into water mains, sewer, and septic systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics to ensure proper installation.
• Work within a stall-based modular production process to meet construction timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and handle tools/materials safely.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience in residential or modular home plumbing preferred.
• Proficiency in PEX piping system installation.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Skilled in using pipe cutters, crimpers, pressure gauges, and other plumbing tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot leaks, test systems, and install fixtures efficiently.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in physically demanding conditions.
• Comfortable working in warehouse, manufacturing, and outdoor environments.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
