DX Pipefitter Mechanics Needed

Location:

• Shop in Round Rock, TX
• Job sites in Austin, TX

Pay: Up to $30 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical
• Must be dependable and willing to work overtime as needed
• Reliable transportation required
• Previous experience in DX (Direct Expansion) pipefitting is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and maintain DX piping systems for HVAC and refrigeration applications
• Work with copper, steel, and other piping materials to build and repair refrigerant lines
• Braze and solder connections to ensure leak-free installations
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles and specifications
• Test and inspect installed systems for proper function, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards
• Ensure all installations meet safety and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other trades on job sites
