Position Type: Temporary (minimum of 1 month) with potential for direct hire

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 or 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18 to $24 per hour; Based on Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Cable/Fiber Technicians to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in cable and fiber installations and troubleshooting, along with the ability to operate a Fluke tester proficiently. This position offers an immediate start as early as January 27th and provides the potential for a direct hire after the initial temporary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and troubleshoot cable and fiber systems.

• Operate Fluke testers to ensure the quality and integrity of network systems.

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs as needed.

• Follow safety protocols and industry standards.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Proven 1+ year of experience as a Cable/Fiber Technician.

• Proficiency in operating Fluke testers.

• Strong understanding of cable and fiber installations and maintenance.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
