Job Posting: Sales Associate - Entry Level (SAM-I)

Salary: $60-75k (BOE)

Position Overview: Are you looking to start your career in sales with a company that values growth and development? We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Associate Trainee (SA-T) to join our team. This is an entry-level role designed to introduce you to our sales and estimating processes while helping to expand our market share.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote our services to potential customers to increase market share.
• Engage in the full estimating process and learn each step of the method.
• Conduct field observations and inspections, on-screen estimating, proposal writing, and detail reviews.
• Develop client relationships through direct interactions and association involvement.
• Perform door-to-door customer contact to provide information about our services.
• Begin the qualifying process with potential customers as knowledge develops.
• Verify contract scopes, manage client relationships, and oversee project engagement from start to finish.
• Meet a Year 1 sales goal of at least $500K.

Position Requirements:

• Experience: A four-year degree is preferred. If a candidate does not have a degree, the following is required:
• Minimum of 2 years of college and 2 years of relevant experience, OR
• Five years of construction and/or professional sales and customer relations experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong English communication skills, bilingual preferred.
• Abilities & Requirements:
• Ability to read and understand construction documents.
• Familiarity with general construction practices.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Problem-solving and dispute resolution skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Career ambition to advance within the company.
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to climb scaffolding, stairs, and ladders.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.

Education:

• A four-year college degree is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
