Examiner

Job Summary:

As a Textile Examiner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of fabric and finished textile products in the manufacturing process. You will inspect, assess, and ensure that all materials meet the required specifications, standards, and customer expectations before they proceed to the next stage of production or are shipped out. This role requires keen attention to detail, a strong understanding of textile production, and an eye for identifying defects or inconsistencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Evaluation: Examine raw materials, fabrics, and finished textile products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications. Identify defects such as stains, holes, misprints, or color inconsistencies.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet internal and external quality standards by conducting thorough inspections at various stages of production.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, including defect reports and corrective actions taken. Document findings on inspection forms and report discrepancies to relevant teams.
• Testing and Analysis: Conduct tests on fabrics, such as strength, durability, shrinkage, and colorfastness, to verify material quality before production.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements in fabric manufacturing and quality control by providing feedback and suggestions for reducing defects and improving overall production efficiency.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and health regulations during inspections and quality checks.
• Training: Assist in training new or junior examiners and operators in quality standards, inspection techniques, and safety protocols.
