Quality Control Inspector

General Job Description:

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Quality Specialist to join our growing operations..

Starting Pay: $14.00/based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Inform supervisor of any problems with equipment or unsafe working conditions.
• Maintains the first aid cabinet and keeps it supplied with first aid supplies needed. 
• Must attend any safety related meetings when scheduled.
• Must attend daily morning/monthly meetings.
• All filling of QC and production office paperwork
• Must create/update a label and the label station when needed.
• Must print out all labels and label paperwork for each shift.
• Print out all forms needed for production for each shift.
• Create tool kits for new hires.
• Making vending cards for new hires after orientation is completed.
• All product spec books needed for production floor and posting of machine goals and any other items needed (i.e. Quality Alerts, Visual Aides, Lessons Learned)
• Create a product standard, if needed.
• Validating initial products after quality control inspection.
• Keeping QC office clean and organized as well as taking trash out of the QC office.
• Data Entry 
• Assist during plant wide inventory. 
• If applicable, translation of all forms, documents, and/or training as needed.
• If applicable, back up on Spanish Orientations includes setting up, preparing, and cleaning after orientations.
• If applicable, update the material board daily.

Requirements and Qualification

    Must be comfortable working in hot temperatures

• Understand company quality policy. Always have a copy within easy access.
• Familiar with ISO/IATF requirements, manuals, where to find information when needed.
• Familiar with how your job is relevant and important and contributes to the achievement of quality objectives of the company.
