Paper Mixer

General Job Description:

We are hiring in Washington, NC. We are looking for Paper Mixer workers who are looking to grow within an organization at a long-term full-time job. Reads and follows a formula to mix pulp and binder for the Papermill.  Oversees the paper mix tanks to ensure the quality of the finished filter media.  Maintains a detailed work record to monitor pulp production and chemical inventory.

 2^nd Shift Available

Starting Pay: $17.60

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred 
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Reading and writing skills to be able to complete the controlled document sheets, read and follow the formulas, and read the control panel and pH meter.
• Basic math skills to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide when figuring inventory use and making liquid measurements
• Papermill experience or experience mixing chemicals is recommended.
• Must be able to pass a drug test & background check
• Great attendance and attitude!
• Steel toed shoes and long pants

Schedule:

• Will train on 1^st shift 6am to 2:30 4 to 6 weeks and then will move to 2^nd shift 2:00pm to 10:30pm after training is complete

• 8-hour shift
