Baseboard Fabrication Machine Operator Opportunity in Bennettsville, SC
Job Summary
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Baseboard Fabrication Machine Operator to join our growing operation. In this role, you will operate a Baseboard Roll Mill Machine. Under the supervision of the departmentmanager, you will operate machinery that punches and presses metal parts for the baseboard department. The position requires previous Machine Operator experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Will stand and monitor roll mill parts for defects, marks, markings, dents & accuracy
- Will lift 3 lb parts off roll mill and place on racks while being careful not to scar parts
- Once racks are full use supplied tie to tie down parts and push parts to designated area and bring back empty rack from the finning machine
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Thread roll of flexible sheet metal using hands and use extra large pliers thru roll mill
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be able to Grip, Grasp, Push, Pull
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; machine operator experience is required
- Able to work on your feet for 10-hour shifts and lift up to 45 lbs. regularly
- Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
- Good communication skills
