Machine Operator I – In Goldsboro, NC
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking dependable and motivated Machine Operators I to join our growing team in Goldsboro, NC. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery used in the fabrication, monitoring, manufacturing, and assembly of products within our production department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions to ensure components meet specifications
- Utilize measurement tools such as rulers and tape measures with accuracy
- Perform quality control checks to verify quantity, quality, and accuracy of products
- Assemble components by ensuring proper fit and secure fastening of parts and sub-assemblies
- Complete and reconcile final inspection documentation for shipping
- Assist with training new team members as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Demonstrated reliability with a solid work history; warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts and regularly lift up to 45 lbs
- Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
- Light mechanical aptitude required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
