Job Summary
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Molding Operator for a local manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be working in the Molding department and assembling industrial molding machines after completing part training with a designated trainer. You must be able to follow all rules and regulations including gowning and de-gowning.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate industrial molding machines after completing part training with a designated trainer
- Perform any secondary operations on parts
- Operate secondary equipment and other tools
- Pull sample for inspection
- Enter scrap data into online program
- Ensure products meet the component specification
- Perform quality checks on parts being produced
- Keep the screen green
- Contact supervisor and technician if part or machine is not operating correctly
- Complete all production related paperwork neatly and accurately.
- Pack product in the correct containers.
- Make boxes if required.
- Place appropriate labels on packaging.
- Maintain a clean work area throughout the shift.
- Prior to leaving at the end of the shift, ensure workstation is neat and orderly.
- Excellent attendance.
- Be on time every day; arrive at your workstation 5 minutes prior to the start of the shift.
- Work overtime as necessary.
- No call outs, late arrivals, etc.
- Returning from all breaks and lunches on time.
- Attend all scheduled training.
- Attend all scheduled shift meetings.
- Perform all activities in a safe manner.
- Responsible along with team for keeping the molding room neat and orderly.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Comprehension/Reasoning Skills
- This position requires corrected eyesight of 20/20 basic computer skills – keyboarding.
