Job Title: Loader / Material Handler

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Loader/Material Handler to join our team in Fernley. This role involves loading and unloading materials from semi-trucks and safely operating overhead cranes to move heavy items. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials from semi-trucks using appropriate equipment.
• Operate overhead cranes to move heavy materials safely and efficiently.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Assist with inventory management and material staging as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience loading/unloading trucks and handling materials.
• Proficiency in operating overhead cranes (certification preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Fernley location.
