Job Title: Operations Coordinator – DiaFil Division
Location: Fernley, Nevada
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Long-Term
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour (or based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to manage production, customer service, and shipping for all DiaFil orders at our Fernley Plant. This role is essential in ensuring accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and efficient coordination across departments and logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate production, customer service, and shipping of DiaFil orders
  • Oversee customer order entry, delivery scheduling, and shipping requirements
  • Organize shipping logistics with OTR truck brokers, Union Pacific rail, and ocean freight providers
  • Place and receive purchase orders for the Fernley Plant using SAP (AX)
  • Enter and manage monthly reporting data (production, EHS, safety)
  • Maintain organized records including customer orders, MSHA documents, service contracts, and invoices
  • Manage inventory of bulk and packaged materials, pallets, slip sheets, stretch wrap, adhesives, and ink
  • Ensure customer orders are entered accurately and timely, including packaging and labeling per specifications
  • Coordinate shipping with customers, logistics, and production teams to meet delivery timelines
  • Manage invoicing and QA documentation post-shipment
  • Track supplier invoice payments and ensure timely processing
  • Support compliance with MSHA and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with OTR, rail, and ocean freight logistics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP (AX)
  • Understanding of business fundamentals and process controls
  • Experience with mill and mining operations is a plus
  • Knowledge of MSHA and environmental regulations preferred
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis abilities
  • Ability to present information effectively to management and teams

Work Attire Requirements:

  • Steel-toe boots required
  • Long pants (no sweats or shorts)
  • Short sleeve shirts (no tank tops)
