Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Day Shift

Location: McCarren, NV (USA Parkway)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Hours subject to change; overtime required as needed, including some weekends)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage inbound and outbound deliveries, maintain accurate inventory records, and support logistics operations. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with inventory systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule all inbound and outbound deliveries and shipments; ensure purchase order numbers are included on all documentation.
• Record and verify the quantity and quality of goods received.
• Coordinate with buyers regarding product returns and repairs.
• Monitor email and other electronic communications to stay updated on shipping and receiving activities.
• Accurately input received materials into the inventory system and forward documentation to Accounts Payable.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, supervisors, and managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of computerized inventory control systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar software.
• Ability to perform accurate arithmetic computations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices and department manuals.
• Professional conduct and a strong sense of teamwork.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend, and reach frequently throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs periodically.
• Ability to work in seasonally warm and cool manufacturing environments.
