Job Title: Machinist
Location: McCarran, Nevada (USA Parkway)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; overtime as required

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our team in McCarran, NV (USA Parkway). This role involves interpreting technical drawings and specifications, programming and operating mills and lathes, and ensuring precision in machining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GD&T, safety protocols, and preventive maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop machining plans by interpreting work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and GD&T specifications
• Program and operate mills and lathes, including setting tool registers, offsets, and conditional switches
• Set up machines with appropriate tools, attachments, and fixtures
• Operate JIB crane (up to 1,500 lbs capacity) and lift materials up to 50 lbs
• Load feed mechanisms and verify machine settings and part dimensions
• Perform drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing operations
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to maintain quality and efficiency
• Conduct preventive maintenance and call for repairs when needed
• Maintain accurate production and quality logs
• Ensure safe operations and compliance with safety regulations
• Communicate effectively across shifts and document ongoing needs or irregularities
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a machinist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting GD&T
• Strong math skills, including geometry and trigonometry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Familiarity with safety and quality assurance procedures
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
