Manpower is currently seeking a Membership Executive for a distinguished client in Ft. Pierce, FL.

 

Job description:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Possess the ability to thoroughly explain and educate prospects on the client’s experience and have the tools and expertise required to convert the prospect into a member. They must be able to close the deal!

  • As a service-centered business that emphasizes a hassle-free membership experience, the client’s sales professionals must be highly organized and responsive, as prospective members are often available outside of standard business hours. This will mean being available when the prospect is available (which may include after-hours calls).

  • An entrepreneurial and well-rounded business mindset is paramount to successfully creating a strong track record in sales.

  • Relentless follow-up skills are a must. Sales activity will be managed over the phone, email, and text, so exceptional oral and written communication skills are required. Until a prospect asks to be removed from the database, they are a solid prospect and should be treated as such.

  • All applicants must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and some type of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program.

  • Continuous interaction with current members is required. The most inexpensive and highest-quality leads often come through member referrals.

  • In addition to company-generated leads, the Membership Executive (ME) is responsible for proactive lead generation — including participation in boat shows, trade shows, open houses, member socials, vendor events, and other off-site networking opportunities.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A background in the service industry or non-tangible sales.

  • Some level of boating experience or boat ownership to genuinely appreciate the client’s experience.

  • Flexibility to adapt to internal and external changes.

  • 3+ years of sales experience.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Full-time position

Pay – Stipend for the first month, then commission and bonuses thereafter.

  • Stipend for first 4 weeks: $1,000 per week (no stipend if 2 or more deals are closed per week).

  • Commission: $550.00 per deal.

  • Monthly bonus: $100 per deal, retroactive to the beginning of the month (bonuses are paid during the second pay period of each month).
