We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator for the 3rd shift to join our client's dynamic team.
Shift
3pm – Finish, Saturdays & 1 weekday off
Duties
Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain optimal workflow and adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA standards.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with company policies.
Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are utilized to prevent injury.
Participate in training sessions for new equipment or processes as directed by management.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking processes.
Proven experience in materials handling and heavy equipment operation.
Knowledge of mechanical systems related to forklift operation is preferred.
Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus but not required.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
$16-$17
