Requirements and Responsibilities:

Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, marketing or equivalent preferred
-
5+ years of experience in non-profit fundraising with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
-
Demonstrated analytical and persuasive writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear manner to a diverse audience

Marketing experience preferred

Annual Fundraising Campaign development and implementation

Small group events
-
Create and execute a schedule of year-round fundraising appeal correspondence

Lead and oversee appropriate other donor-centric communications, including monthly newsletter

Donor Cultivation, Moves Management
-
Database Management – maintain integrity of fundraising database (Salesforce)
-
In collaboration with other team members, ensure completion of donor record-keeping and gift acknowledgements
-
Grant management, including the research and application of the grants calendar
-
Advocate for the organization in the community through presentations to civic groups
-
Facilitate the Board of Directors Development Committee

Social Media campaign collaboration
-
Annual Report collaboration
-
Corporate Partner recruitment and management
-
Outreach efforts via local event calendars and press releases
-
Capital Campaign interface and support, including endowment rollout

Weekly and Monthly reporting to management
-
Weekly Donations and Acknowledgements report review and summary
-
Weekly and Monthly Activity report
-
Monthly Outreach Projection/Plan

Social Media updates
-
Board update report every 6 weeks in advance of meetings
