CNC Machinist

Tazewell County Pay $20-$30 per hour DOE Must be able to train on 1st shift for 1-3 weeks until fully trained (7am-3pm) then move to 3rd shift (8pm-6am) Must have longevity and at least 1 year of strong CNC operation experience CNC Machinist Required Skills: -At least 1 year of machine operation experience -At least 1 year of blueprints reading experience -At least 1 year of experience using calipers and micrometers Description: -Sets up and operate CNC machines including loading fixture, programs, and parts. -Changing tools, touching-off tools, inspecting and changing inserts, loading and adjusting tool offsets. -Review manufacturing drawing and verify product specification using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers and CMM. -Comply with all safety policies and procedures while actively participating to create a zero-harm culture at work. -Properly complete required paper work on time. Participate in daily preventive maintenance and cleaning schedules. Potential hazard exposures may include: cuts and abrasions from using hand tools, cuts from metals, heavy lifting, fumes and/or airborne particles, pinch points near machinery, extreme temperatures, slip and fall hazards.
