Facilities Maintenance Technician

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support ongoing projects with a reputable manufacturer located in Hillsboro, OR. The person in this role will update, troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and facilities to ensure they are in working order.

Pay: $27-$29/hr

Facilities Maintenance Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance throughout the facility as required by business need and work orders, including preventative maintenance and various installations.

• Understand and work with facility blueprints and sketches to complete assignments and troubleshooting

• Complete regular documentation on work completed and in progress

• Responsible for operating a wide variety of equipment with safety and precision

• Assist other Facilities Technicians, as required, to complete customer requests and research for Facilities projects

• Follow company-wide safety programs, 5S initiatives, and ISO procedures

Facilities Maintenance Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent applicable education and work experience is required; Associate’s degree is preferred

• Minimum 3 years facility mechanical maintenance experience required

• Good knowledge of building and equipment maintenance including mechanical, basic electrical, hydraulic, building equipment operation and maintenance

• Basic understanding of building, environmental, and industry equipment regulatory codes and administration

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with all levels of personnel

• Strong mechanical skills including knowledge of and ability to use machine, hand, amp meters, DMM, and power tools
