SHIFT: Monday-Friday 11:00am to 7:30pm
Duties:

Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a wide range of industrial machinery, production lines, HVAC systems, lighting, and other facility infrastructure.

Interpret and apply blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate and compliant installations.

Assist in the commissioning of new equipment and production lines, ensuring electrical systems meet operational requirements and safety standards.

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems, motors, control panels, variable frequency drives (VFDs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), sensors, and other electrical components to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, utilizing a variety of testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, thermal imagers, etc.).

Execute timely repairs of electrical faults to ensure efficient restoration of production capabilities.

Troubleshoot and repair control circuits, relay logic, and industrial automation systems.

Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and relevant electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA).

Identify and mitigate electrical hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Conduct routine safety inspections of electrical equipment and wiring.

Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including repairs, installations, and inspections.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
Four to six (4-6) years of experience as a Licensed Commercial Electrician, with at least 2 years specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent vocational training.

Valid Washington State Journeyman Commercial Electrician License is preferred.

Proven experience with 480V 3-phase power, control circuits, and industrial motor controls.

Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell) is highly preferred.

Experience with VFDs, servo drives, and other industrial automation components.

Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a strong analytical approach to electrical systems.

Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficient in using a variety of electrical testing equipment.

Basic computer skills for data entry, work order systems, and accessing technical documentation.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to [e.g., 50] pounds regularly.

Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures.

Must be able to distinguish colors for wiring identification.
