Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Production / wood door assistant position for a commercial door manufacturer located in Hillsboro, OR. The person in this position will be assisting in their carpentry department and support activities of the carpentry and machining teams.

Pay: $18-$20/hr

Production Shop Helper Responsibilities

• Working with wood doors.

• Machining for hinges and locks.

• Cutting out windows in doors then installing glass.

• Trimming out glass in doors.

• Working with finished products.

• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas

• Identifying safety risks and hazards and complying with relevant safety procedures and regulations

• Others duties as assigned

Production Shop Helper Qualifications:

• 6 mos of experience in woodworking would be preferred BUT no experience is required as long as you have a desire to be trained.

• Able to heavy lift. We promote team lifting!

• Show up everyday and be on time and ready to work.

• Able to use and operate hand tools & grinders

• Desire to create a long term working relationship.
