Fabrication Estimator and Salesperson

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Fabrication Estimator – Salesperson for our client in Portland, OR. The successful candidate with be responsible for soliciting projects, preparing accurate estimates and quotes, and managing small fabrication projects.

Pay: $33-35/hr

Shift: M-F 6am – 2:30pm. Some local travel, potential overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and solicit new project opportunities

• Review drawings/specs to estimate labor, materials, and subcontractors

• Request and evaluate vendor quotes

• Prepare and submit bids and proposals

• Track bid outcomes and follow up

• Set up job files, work orders, and coordinate project handoff

• Conduct production rate analysis and job costing

• Manage small projects as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma

• 5+ years in steel fabrication estimating

• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook

• Strong drawing/spec reading and estimating skills

• Valid driver’s license and clean record
