Machine Operator

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Hardware Insertion Machine Operator for a long term, day shift position with a metal manufacturer in Beaverton, OR. The person in this position will set up and operate hardware machines to install components.

Pay: $22-$23/hr

Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate all models of hardware machines efficiently and accurately according to job requirements.

• Set-up and operate autofeed tooling to ensure continuous and efficient hardware installation.

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine correct hardware installation locations and specifications.

• Maintain accurate count of installed hardware and complete necessary paperwork related to inventory and production.

• Perform regular maintenance on hardware machines to ensure optimal performance. Keep the work area clean and organized.

Machine Operator Qualifications:

• Industrial machine operation experience

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with team members and follow instructions.

• Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations required for measurements and inventory management.

• Ability to manage time efficiently, follow instructions, and work effectively in a team environment.
