Part Time Painter

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for someone with commercial and industrial painting experience who is interested in some PART TIME work for a client located in Beaverton OR.

This client specializes in manufacturing products for a vast array of industries from aerospace to entertainment!

Shift: Mornings
Hours: 20 hours per week
Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00+ depending on experience

Painter Summary:
Seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join the team on a part-time basis. This role will involve prepping, painting, and finishing equipment and surfaces. The position is ideal for individuals seeking a consistent morning schedule and a stable work environment.

Painter Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.

• Mix and apply industrial paints and coatings using spray, brush, or roller techniques.

• Ensure proper adhesion and finish quality on all painted surfaces.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Inspect painted areas to ensure quality standards are met.

• Report any equipment malfunctions or material shortages to the supervisor.

Painter Qualifications:

• Previous experience in industrial or commercial painting preferred.

• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Basic knowledge of painting tools, equipment, and safety practices.

• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a variety of environments.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a manufacturing or industrial setting. The use of protective gear such as respirators, gloves, and coveralls may be required, and provided for you.
