Grinder/Deburrer

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Grinder/Deburr Technician for a long-term, day shift role with a machine shop in South East Portland, OR. The person in this position will use hand and power tools to finish machined parts.

Pay: $22-$25/hr

Grinder/Deburrer Responsibilities:

• Perform hand finishing, deburring, and grinding operations to ensure high-quality finished parts

• Utilize hand tools, grinders, and other finishing equipment to remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections

• Inspect parts to meet quality standards and customer specifications

• Work with machinists and quality control to ensure all finished parts are up to standard

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Grinder/Deburrer Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in grinding, deburring, or hand finishing within a machine shop or manufacturing environment

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and grinders

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Team player with strong communication skills
