BLAINE, WA
Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Field Crew Lead to oversee 3–6 crew members on telecommunication infrastructure projects across the Pacific Northwest. You’ll work directly in the field, ensuring projects stay on track, teams stay productive, and communication flows clearly between crews, project managers, and stakeholders. All projects will be in OR, WA, or ID.

Pay: $28-31/hr DOE
Shift: Travel, Field Work, Some Remote from home
Location: This is a 98% traveling position throughout OR, WA, and ID.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead crews of 3–6 in field operations

Track and report daily project progress to Project Manager and office team

Ensure crews have tools, materials, and info needed to stay productive

Act as the liaison between crew, PMs, upper management, and (occasionally) local city officials

Maintain high safety and productivity standards on-site

Support technical tasks and problem-solving as needed (training provided)
What We’re Looking For

5+ years leading crews on construction, excavation, dirt work, or similar projects

Strong communicator and problem-solver—comfortable being the go-to in the field

Proven experience working away from home for extended periods

Comfortable with travel and field conditions (you’ll be in the dirt, not the desk)

Background in telecom helpful but not required—we can train on the technical stuff

Must pass background check, drug screen, and driving record check
