Diesel Pump Mechanic

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Diesel Pump Mechanic for a long-term opportunity in SE Portland, OR. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing on diesel pumps and related equipment for the commercial and industrial industries.

Pay: $28-$35/hr

Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Perform oil and fuel filter changes on diesel pumps.

• Conduct maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and pump wet ends.

• Assist with preventative maintenance for fluid service equipment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.

Diesel Pump Mechanic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience working on diesel engines and related equipment.

• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and pump systems.

• Familiarity with fluid service equipment in commercial and industrial applications.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
