    Candidates should have 2 yrs proven sales experience. Position will include monthly base salary that will taper off to full commission. Current sales rep are compensated above industry average and are challenged and motivated with limitless potential. Formal job details follow.     Primary Role

    Responsible for the handling of all daily sales activities including but not limited to, product demonstrations, handling customer inquiries for quotations, and order negotiations. Representative would contact the assigned customer base within his/her territory on a regular basis to solicit new and additional business. Assist in the planning, organizing and implementation of sales programs for the company. Plans and is responsible for achieving overall sales objectives.

     

    Responsibilities

    1. Drive sales of company products to existing and/or prospective customers

    2. Responsible for negotiating pricing of customer orders

    3. Responsible to increase sales for assigned customer accounts

    4. Establish and maintain cordial customer relations through customer visits and telephone contact

    5. Perform product demonstrations for prospective customers, research sales opportunities, make product related recommendations to management

    6. Work with management on pricing strategies and other customer issues that affect sales, profitability, or customer satisfaction

    7. Maintain communication network with customers, other sales representatives, customer service personnel, and management as it pertains to assigned accounts

    8. Understand importance of being a team player; must be willing to assist co-workers

    Accountability

    The Sales Representative will be accountable to the Sales Manager. Secondary accountability will be to the General Manager and other management team members, employees and customers of the company. The Sales Representative will comply with all Company Policies and Procedures.

     

    Qualifications

    The Sales Representative shall possess a four-year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis in business, marketing or engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the field of sales or service. The Sales Representative should possess a minimum of 2 years prior sales experience.

     

    Travel:

    It is expected that this position will require a moderate to considerable amount of travel to customers.

    2. Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized.

    3. Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.

    4. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    5. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse groups.

    6. Proficiency in the use of personal computers including such programs as MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.

    7. Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date.

    8. Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations.

    9. Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation.

    10. Valid and current drivers license.

     

    Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements:

    1. Employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.

    2. Some light lifting of objects is required.

    3. Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also required.

    4. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

    5. Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
