Machine Setter/Operator

Join a high-performing team manufacturing precision parts that power the future of science and healthcare. As a Machine Setter/Operator, you’ll ensure efficient production runs, maintain equipment, and take ownership of quality—from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

• Set & Operate Equipment: Run and adjust automated machinery to produce high-volume precision parts to spec.

• Tooling & Changeovers: Manufacture and install tooling (e.g., printer screens), and perform efficient machine changeovers.

• Quality Ownership: Monitor part quality with precision instruments—you’re responsible for your own quality and scrap.

• Use Industry Tools:

  • Mitutoyo 0–150mm Digital Calipers (Vernier Calipers)

  • Mitutoyo Electronic Digital Indicator (543 Series, 0–25.4mm range)

  • Metric Allen Wrenches (L-shape and “T” handle)

• Process Improvement: Identify and implement ideas to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize output.

• Support & Training: Mentor team members and assist in onboarding new operators.

• Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while following 5S and safety protocols.

• Product Development: Collaborate with engineering on new product and process development.

What You Bring:

• Hands-on experience with automated machinery in a manufacturing environment

• Proficiency using precision measurement tools (listed above)

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• A plus: CNC machining experience or Quality Control Technician background
