Job Title: Director of Finance
This position oversees the administration operations and financial planning for the company. The Director of Finance has responsibility on all matters impacting company financial performance. The position will have Human Resources and Accounting responsibilities. This position reports to the General Manager.
Responsibility and Authority
Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks
Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
Set up and oversee the company’s ERP system
Set targets for and supervise all accounting and procurement personnel
Oversee all audit and internal control operations
Develop the corporate investment strategy with key stakeholders
Developing and promoting policies that ensure positive interaction between administrative staff and other personnel
Organize the workplace so that the workflow is streamlined
Oversee the timely issuance of financial performance reports
Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to senior management
Act as primary contact with PEO and ensure we are getting maximum value
Ensure adherence with contracts with suppliers
Ensure adherence to laws and guidelines, including GAAP
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar background
Proven experience as Finance Director is a must
Experience implementing ERP systems is a must.
Experience with Sage X3 is a plus.
Chemical industry experience is must
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
