Store Associate – Part time
L.K. Jordan & Associates is currently seeking Part-Time Store Associate for our client, a leading distributor of paper products. This position is located in the Houston Westchase area, with day shifts and minimal weekend work. If you're a motivated individual with strong customer service skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Position Details:
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (one Saturday per year for inventory)
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Participate in the company's safety program
- Process customer orders and maintain accurate records
- Replenish and organize stock
- Assist with customer carry-outs
- Maintain store cleanliness and perform general maintenance
- Use computers for order processing and other store functions
Qualifications:
- 3 years of customer service experience preferred
- Positive, outgoing, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in sales, retail, paper, printing, or packaging is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and coworkers
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic math skills for calculations
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
