Job Title: Roll Operator
Location: NW Houston, TX
Shift: Night Shift | 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday – Saturday
Pay Range: $22 – $28 per hour (Based on Experience)
Overview:
LK Jordan is hiring an experienced and dependable Roll Operator to join our night shift team in the NW Houston area. This position is ideal for candidates with 3–5 years of experience in steel processing or manufacturing environments who are ready to play a hands-on role in our production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts into sub-assemblies or finished products according to established procedures.
Operate various hand and power tools including jigs, dies, fixtures, punch presses, circular shears, drill presses, and riveting machines.
Perform precise tasks such as cutting, filing, fitting, punching, reaming, forming, and assembling components.
Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to ensure adherence to product specifications and tolerances.
Monitor quality of raw materials and finished goods to ensure they meet production standards.
Interpret simple blueprints or technical drawings.
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machines and the work area.
Detect and correct minor machine malfunctions to ensure continuous operation.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or steel processing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial tools and machinery.
Ability to work independently under broad supervision.
Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
Capable of physical labor, including standing for long periods.
Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
Preferred Background:
Prior experience in steel processing or metal fabrication.
