SALES MANAGER – HOUSTON, TX


Overview:
Our client is actively seeking a Sales Manager, to join their dynamic sales team based in Houston, Texas. This role plays a crucial part in driving growth, forging strong client relationships, and strengthening the company’s position in the renewables, utilities, and energy transition sectors. You'll be at the forefront of business development, managing high-impact accounts and identifying new opportunities to help position the company as a trusted partner in the evolving energy market.

The Houston office serves as the company’s hub for innovation in energy transition and renewable energy solutions. The Sales team prides itself on understanding the unique needs of each client and consistently delivering results through customized strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead on sales initiatives within major accounts, collaborating closely with the Business Development team.
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with EPC firms, OEMs, and end-users, focusing on key decision-makers across engineering, procurement, and business operations.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to drive engagement, identify opportunities, and expand account value.
  • Deliver compelling presentations of the company’s offerings to both technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor by fostering long-term partnerships with clients.
  • Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline, keeping accurate records of activity, deals, and relationship progress.
  • Keep CRM systems up to date, ensuring transparency across the sales lifecycle.
  • Support marketing campaigns and outreach efforts within assigned territories.
  • Increase brand visibility through competitor and market intelligence.


Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience within the Energy Transition, Utility, or Industrial sectors.
  • Must have background in Electrical, Automation, Industrial, or Software/Digital solution sales.
  • Strong track record in lead generation, client engagement, and deal closure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Software, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Deep understanding of automation systems, electrical integration, and digital technologies.
  • Willingness to travel 30% internationally as needed within the designated region.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and experience with sales data reporting.
