AutoCAD and electrical background

LK Jordan is seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter/Field Technician with a strong AutoCAD and electrical background to join our client’s team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow technically and professionally in a hands-on, field-based role. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, with proven experience in AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD Plant 3D and a solid understanding of electrical components.

Responsibilities:

• Create and update electrical and mechanical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD Plant 3D

• Develop and revise GA drawings, flow diagrams, and pipework layouts

• Work closely with Control Panel Wiring Technicians to ensure proper electrical implementation

• Assist in the design and development of new products and equipment

• Generate 2D and 3D technical drawings and contribute to product manuals

• Coordinate regularly with the Manufacturing Engineer Lead on project status

• Support the design and setup of testing tools and equipment

• Travel to client sites to connect and disconnect electrical equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with AutoCAD Electrical or AutoCAD Plant 3D

• Solid understanding of electrical components and wiring schematics

• Experience in equipment design and technical drafting

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• High attention to detail and ability to manage tasks independently

• Spanish proficiency is a plus

• Must be able and willing to travel to client sites as needed
