Job Title: Service Advisor

Location: NorthHouston

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and professional Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor will be the first line of communication for all customers, both in person and on the phone. This role is essential for ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that all vehicle issues are accurately documented and assigned to the appropriate technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer all inbound calls and serve as the first point of contact for customers.
• Greet all incoming clients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Take down all information provided by customers regarding issues with their trucks.
• Write up detailed work orders based on the information provided by customers.
• Assign work orders to the appropriate technician for repairs.
• Confirm and verify that all repairs have been completed to the customer's satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with technicians and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Provide updates to customers on the status of their vehicles as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Experience with 18-wheelers, automotive, or auto parts is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and communication.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
• Previous experience as a service advisor or in a related field is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• The position requires sitting behind a desk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work the specified hours from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds may be required.
