What You’ll Be Doing:
Set up and operate cable extrusion machines following detailed specifications
Operate auxiliary equipment such as IR heaters, material dryers, and micrometers
Conduct and document product quality checks to maintain high standards
Understand processing characteristics of various polymers and materials
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform end-of-shift clean-up
Report issues and production updates clearly and proactively
Uphold company values: Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement
What You Bring:
Familiarity with extrusion systems and parts including:
Breaker plates, hopper dryers, feed zones, crosshead assemblies
Take-ups, preheaters, spark testers, cooling troughs, and more
Strong attendance and safety track record in prior roles
High school diploma or GED
Basic math skills and experience with measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Comfortable standing, kneeling, reaching, and sitting for extended periods
