The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the hospitality industry located in Denver, CO, who is in search of a Leasing Consultant on a direct hire basis. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive relations with multi-family residential apartments.
Job Title: Leasing Consultant
Location: Denver, CO
Work Schedule: Mon–Fri, In-Office
Compensation: $19 - $24/hr
Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, addressing their needs through questions and completed guest cards.
- Record all telephone and in-person visits promptly.
- Maintain and file guest cards per company procedures.
- Inspect models and available apartments, reporting service needs to the Property Manager.
- Demonstrate apartment features, closing sales, and ensuring paperwork and deposits are secured in line with company and Fair Housing policies.
- Process applications for approvals, including credit and rental checks, and submit to the Community Manager.
- Follow up on application status and ensure apartment readiness on move-in day.
- Engage with unclosed prospects and attempt to convert; refer to sister communities if needed.
- Complete lease paperwork, update resident files, and maintain accurate daily inspection records.
- Monitor renewals and follow up on renewal notices.
- Assist with advertising, market surveys, and outreach marketing to attract new residents.
- Ensure maintenance service requests are completed and follow up with residents.
- Represent the company professionally and assist with resident functions and community events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or at least two years of multi-family leasing experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with Yardi/One Site is a plus.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to residents.
- High level of professionalism in appearance and demeanor.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to complete legal documents and answer resident inquiries.
- Ability to sell and explain apartment features effectively.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently while following company procedures.
- Accuracy and efficiency in completing tasks and managing responsibilities.
