3rd Shift Quality Inspector

We are seeking a quality inspector that can work 3^rd shift, 8p-6am in the Bedford Park Area.  Training on 1^st shift and switch over to 3^rd.  Experience with reading blueprints and use hand gages (calipers, height gage, etc.) needed.  Pay may be based on experience but can start at minimum of  17p/h. 

Job Responsibilities

• Inspecting Products: Conducting dimensional inspections of machined and assembled parts, as well as visual inspections of products and materials. 
• Using Inspection Tools: Utilizing various hand inspection tools, gauges, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) to measure and assess products. 
• Reading Blueprints: Interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand dimensional tolerances and other requirements. 
• Documenting Results: Recording inspection results, documenting defects, and writing non-conformance reports. 
• Communicating Findings: Communicating inspection findings to production and engineering teams and recommending corrective actions. 
• Maintaining Records: Keeping detailed records of inspections, calibrations, and any re-work or waste. 
• Ensuring Compliance: Ensuring all products meet customer specifications and industry standards. 
• Collaborating with Teams: Working closely with production operators, fabricators, and management to ensure quality. 
• Participating in Audits: Assisting with or performing internal quality audits. 
• Following Procedures: Adhering to company quality procedures and safety regulations
