Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Paint-Line Associates for both 1st and 2nd shifts in the Libertyville area. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in the preparation and handling of parts for powder coating processes in our Paint-Line Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Times:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday - Thursday

Paint-Line Responsibilities:

• Loading and Unloading Parts:
  Safely load and unload parts onto and off the powder coating line. Ensure proper handling of parts to minimize damage and ensure high-quality finishes.

• Masking and Plugging:
  Mask and plug holes, threads, and other sensitive areas of parts to ensure accurate powder coating and protect these areas from overspray. Ensure all masking and plugging is done carefully to prevent defects.

• Prepping Parts for Coating:
  Prepare parts for coating by ensuring they are free of dirt, oil, and other contaminants. Follow standard procedures for cleaning and prepping parts to ensure the best finish on the powder coat.

• Learning Powder Coating:
  Gain hands-on experience in the powder coating process by learning how to apply coatings efficiently and safely. Work closely with experienced team members to master the techniques and procedures involved.

• Cleaning the Work Area:
  Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning workstations and surrounding areas daily. Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in good condition and ready for use.

• Packaging and Order Fulfillment:
  Package finished parts and prepare customer orders for shipment or transfer to inventory. Ensure all items are packed securely to avoid damage during transit.

 Physical Requirements and Duties:

• Mobility:
  Ability to reach, turn, twist, and walk throughout the shift as required by the job duties.

• Standing for Extended Periods:
  Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift, maintaining focus and energy throughout the day.

• Lifting:
  Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. consistently throughout the shift. Proper lifting techniques and safety practices must be followed.

• Attention to Detail:
  Must have a keen eye for detail, especially when it comes to prepping parts, masking, and ensuring the quality of the finished product.
