LOD Staffing has openings for Receiving Material Handler – Weigh Count Specialist

The Receiving Material Handler - Weigh Count Specialist is responsible for weighing and verifying all production to ensure that the customer’s needs are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Weigh and verify parts.
- Verify packaging.
- Correctly identify parts.
- Verify Barcode Labels.
- Stage product in staging area/trucks.
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by Shift Supervisor.
- Follow company safety rules and policies and maintain a clean working environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Resume or Detailed Job History Required.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience performing essential job functions listed, which could include experience gained through a technical training program.
- Must be able to pass Background Check and Drug Screening
Preferred Qualifications / Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- MQT (Manufacturing Quality Technician) experience preferred.
- Computer skills are a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Math aptitude required.
- Attention to detail.
- Physically able to perform job duties as listed above.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Able to operate a manual/electric pallet jack.
- Good Attendance record.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with some supervision required.
Working Environment
- Works primarily in a production and manufacturing environment.
- Frequent interaction on the factory floor, including standing for extended periods, walking between workstations, and navigating around machinery and equipment.
- Regularly exposed to moderate noise levels, moving mechanical parts, and varying temperatures depending on the facility's operations.
- May also involve working near chemicals, adhesives, or other industrial materials, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing.
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) is sufficient to operate equipment safely and read documents.
- Hearing ability (corrected or uncorrected) sufficient to hear and understand instructions and warnings in a noisy environment.
