Job Summary
Fiesta Event Bartenders are responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at Event Venues during events, ensuring a high level of service and compliance with all alcohol regulations. The Fiesta Event Bartender requires professionalism, efficiency, and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
Essential Functions:
- Set up and break down bar stations for catered events.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and Non-alcoholic beverages
- Verify customer age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with regulations.
- Engage with guests in a professional, friendly manner while providing prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Restock bar supplies, including beverages, garnishes, and ice, throughout the event.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using a POS system if required.
- Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained and escalating to management and/or security when needed.
- Assist with inventory management and event cleanup as needed.
- Follow all company policies, health, and safety regulations.
Minimum Qualification
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a current TABC Certification
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong multitasking skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (10-12hrs)
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volume service
- Ability to work with large number of event attendees
- Excellent attention to detail
- Follow directions and able to adapt to change
Physical and Mental Requirements
- This job involves heavy lifting and long periods of standing and walking long distances
- Frequent climbing and descending of steps to access stadium / event seating
- Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to maintain productivity requirements in a fast-paced facility
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
- Ability to remember and communicate routine, factual information.
- Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology
- Ability to apply common sense and make decisions which have a moderate impact on the immediate work unit
- Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.
- Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, loudly, and quickly
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Background screenings is required
Work Environment
- Work areas are typical of a stadium/arena/event facility, which includes working with and around bleachers, floors and steps may be damp and slick due to spills, and other hazards.
- Worker is exposed to noise from cleaning equipment. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above ambient noise level.
- Must be comfortable working with large crowds and large numbers of attendees
