LOD Staffing has openings for HVAC Technicians
The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a full-time, temporary to hire position. Upon completion of 90 probationary period, successful HVAC Technicians will be eligible for direct employment with our client with competitive pay, health and retirement benefits, paid time off, and company vehicle.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Inspect and perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems.
Perform routine cleaning of HVAC components.
Test HVAC Systems for proper functioning.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician (Commercial)
Familiarity with service technician tools and equipment.
Knowledge of appliance repair, air conditioning, plumbing, troubleshooting and equipment repair.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
EPA Certification
HVAC License
Working Environment
Often work outdoors, but some worker may be performed indoors, sometimes in areas with temperatures above 100 degrees. Often exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. Are sometimes exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures when working outdoors. Are sometimes exposed to contaminants, such as refrigerants. Operating and being around hand tools, machinery, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.
Physical and Mental Requirements
Perform in extreme work conditions for extended periods of time (Outdoors, hot attics, small crawl spaces, high humidity, exposure to dust, fumes, gases, ect.)
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including heavy equipment and materials.
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handling, reach outward, reach above shoulder, crawl, squat/Kneel, bend, push and pull frequently. Maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on work surface.
Ability to use upper and lower extremities to move or transport 25 to 50 pounds, including pressing against something to force it in a forward, downward or outward position or drag, haul 25 to 50 pounds
Ability to bend the body downward and forward by bending spine at waist, and bending legs at knees and moving extremities in any direction
Ability to withstand physical demands on the body, including being in a stationary and/or standing position most of the day
Ability to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, including where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly
Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
